Getting started
- Install EasyCards from Google Play.
- Open the app — no signup required.
- Tap the pink + button to add your first card.
- Scan the barcode on the back of your physical card.
- Pick a template (or skip to use a default design).
- Done — your card is saved on your device.
Adding a card
Scan a barcode
Tap + Add card, point your camera at the barcode, and EasyCards will detect and capture it automatically. If the lighting is poor, tap the flash icon.
Type the number manually
If a barcode is damaged, tap Enter manually and type the card number. Choose the right barcode format from the list (most cards are Code 128 or EAN-13).
Import a photo
Already have a photo of the card on your phone? Tap From gallery and EasyCards will scan the image for a barcode.
Using your wallet
Open a card at the till
Tap the card. The barcode appears full-screen at maximum brightness for fast scanning.
Reorder cards
Long-press a card and drag it to a new position.
Pin to home screen
Long-press a card → Pin to home screen. You'll get a one-tap shortcut directly on your launcher.
Add a Wear OS tile
On your watch, swipe to add a tile and choose your favourite EasyCards card. It will be ready on your wrist whenever you need it.
Backup & sync
Turn on backup
Go to Settings → Backup and toggle Cloud backup. Cards are encrypted on your device before being uploaded to your Google account.
Restore on a new phone
Sign into the same Google account on your new phone, install EasyCards, and tap Restore from backup.
Troubleshooting
The cashier's scanner can't read my card
- Turn your screen brightness up to maximum.
- Clean your screen — fingerprints scatter the laser.
- Hold the phone flat and steady about 10–15 cm from the scanner.
- Try the Boost mode in the card view (large, high-contrast barcode).
My card scans, but the store says it's not recognised
That's a store-side issue, not a barcode quality issue. Check that you're using the right card for that retailer.
I lost my cards after switching phones
If you didn't enable backup, the data lives only on the original device. With backup turned on, sign into the same Google account and tap Restore from backup.
Privacy & data
EasyCards stores your cards on your device and never sells your data. Read the full privacy policy for details.
